I have a problem searching marriage records for Clinton County during the period from 1850 to 1860. It would have been a protestant marriage so the wonderful lookups for the Catholic records does me no good. Any ideas? My search is for the marriage of George Jennings and Eliza Ann Davidson, daughter of Henry and Margaret Davidson of Saranac Township, (Saranac Lake?), Clinton County, NY. That's all the information I have. Other than the year of marriage is probably shortly after 1850. The Davidson's are listed in the 1850 census for that area. And my Grandfather, son to that marriage, was born in Saranac, Clinton County, N.Y. ( His name was Charles Henry Jennings, b Oct 21, 1858.) Any help is gratefully received. Jan in Florida
