A year or so ago there was a discussion of hotels in the area of Dannemora/Saranac, etc. I can't find it in the archives. Can anyone give me the name of a clean, safe, inexpensive hotel/motel. Hi Mary,....I had a greatgrandmother named Mary Hopper who married Hugh Dougherty. Don't know when. Have death & burial info, some kids names. They were both born in Ireland. Hugh came here in mid 1820's. Know nothing else about them. Would love more info. Thanks. He was 2 when he came here.
