A kind person found my Irish born grandfather, who was married in Plattsburgh in 1873. Of course, I realize that your ancestor was married at a much earlier time. Good luck. Hi Harriet, Thank you for your email. Yes, I've searched the "Marriages in Clinton County" but did not find my g.g.grandparents listed. I think they would have been married by a traveling priest perhaps and records may not have been kept for those events. This is only a guess of course. The search continues...thank you for your suggestion however.
