    3. You can access the 1880 census for US, 1881 Canada and 1881 UK online at http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=search_all1. asp&clear_form=true When you find the person you want, click on "household" to the right of the page and it will give all members and info. So far it's just the above dates, but it's a start and it's free. 3. Linda, I was able to enhance that census and it looks like he was born in VT and his age was 23.. It looks like they started to write some other state and then wrote VT over it. Do you have the info of him and his family in 1880 in NY.? Edie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda M. 1. Re: [NYCLINTO] Fw: {not a subscriber} city directories, census
    2. Glenn, Thank you so very much for the census info., that is them on the census. This is what I know on the family so far. Grandma Gonyea is still living so I was able to get a little info from her. but she just not sure about much on the Gonyea's. Grandpa Andrew William Gonyea was born Nov. 16, 1921 in Albany, NY., he died Dec. 1975 in Albany. He was a young child (about 5 or 6) when his father Andrew Joseph Gonyea either died, or just up and left the family (at this time I have two different stories on what happend to him). Grandma found in a box of papers Andrew Joseph's married cert.. Andrew Joseph married Johanna Bader May 4, 1920 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co. OH. The married cert. listed their parents names and place of birth. So this is where I got Peter and Minnie. The 1910 & 1920 census in Albany has Johanna Bader living with her parents on Pearl St. When Johanna and Andrew Joseph had Andrew William they lived just down the street from her parents. Thanks for any help Kim
