Hi, Dorothy, Gee, are you related? There was a Dorothy Sisson in the tree, also. But to your question... I can’t be sure of any date for Helen Mcadams. She may have been born in 1923, but it could be later. Here is what I have. Her mother Lydia was born in 1906 in Freedom Plains, Dutchess Co., NY. I think Lydia married a Brower and a Brown, but I don’t know which was first. Lydia died in 1971. Her sister Dorothy probably died in 1972 in NY. Lydia's obit included Helen L. Mcadams in New Berlin, NY. Three children listed with Lydia are Donald D., Walter J., and Helen L. Helen married a H. William or William H. McAdams (1923 - 1997), if I have the correct Social Security Record for his death in New Berlin, NY where they lived. Apparently they also had property in Venice, FL, Ft. Myers, FL and Oneonta county, NY (includes New Berlin). This according to search services. They also list her middle initial as "B". So, it would fit were she born in the early 20s to mid-30s. People Search listed her age as 82, but I don't know when this was. And none of the phone numbers listed are valid for her. William's age was the same, though he apparently didn't live to be 82. I would guess her primary home was New Berlin, NY. But they spent time in Florida. The only two McAdams' in the same county as New Berlin didn't know of her when I called them. She could have died in either place, but does not appear on the Social security Register as I would expect had she done so. I'm hoping someone can send me an obit for her husband, but I've heard nothing yet. Her brother Walter J apparently went to Clarksville, TN and died there in 1997. He was born in 1930 (according to Social Security). A phone listing in his name was answered but the person answering the phone there said he wasn't there anymore without offering further explanation. I'm trying to locate her brother Donald D. or his children; no luck so far.
