When I visited the Chenango County GenWeb page, I find a map that shows none of these communities. Further down the page, I see a list of towns and I find Pharsalia but not Hamilton. I am assuming one is a town and one is a township but which one? How close are these communities to each other? I ask because both of the men named above may be my ggg grandfathers as My gg grandfather, Avery Brown Jr married the daughter of a Maletiah Hatch and I would like to determine if the two men lived close enough for my gg grand- parents would have known each other. Can some at least tell me what is the answer to my question in regards to the two communities. Thank you very much.
