Hi all -- My grandmother told me that a few of her uncles are buried in Oxford Cemetery in or near Oxford, NY. I don't see any cemeteries with this specific name on the Chenango County Genweb site. Hi Noi, The large cemetery in Oxford is Riverview Cemetery. There are also several "abandoned" cemeteries there also. I have a listing of burials in Riverview Cemetery that I would be glad to look up some names for you. Also you can contact the Guernsey Memorial Library and the Chenango Co. Historial Society which both have listings of burials. Hi Sharie, I didn't find any Andrews in Riverview Cemetery unless there were burials but not on the listing I have. I did not compile the listing. But since Oxford is next door to Coventry, I checked the Coventryville Cem. (no Andrews) but I did find these Andrews in the Coventry Cemetery: ANDREWS, Rufus J., s/o Philo & Roxanna, d Aug 29, 1852 ae 11 yrs ANDREWS, George M., d Sept 7, 1866 ae 13 yrs ANDREWS, Alma, d Sept 14, 1866 ae 3 yrs ANDREWS, Lucinda A., d Jan 22, 1853 ae 2 yrs Again, I did not compiled the listings for for these two cemeteries in Coventry. I did compile the records and read the stones in Greenlawn in Bainbridge but outside of a handful of Rev. War Vets which I believe were moved there by the town, the cemetery evidently wasn't there prior to 1850. I also check the index of Rev. War Vets of Chen. Co. (book is in NYS Historical Assn. in Cooperstown, Otsego Co.) and no Rev. War vet listed with info except for the following for a possible Vet: Andrews, Judah 1746-1830 from Oxford. There would be no further info in the book on him.
