Thanks for the update, Neil, Thomas Mattes is the "new" Town Historian in Smyrna. He is doing a great job. but I am not sure whether he subscribes to the Chenango mail list. I did not realize that this year is important to all of us Smyrna descendents. I have walked the West Cemetery a couple of times, and have located the stones of my family, the HUNTs. Unfortunately, the town does not look quite as thriving as it did at the time of the postcard picture on his website.
