    2. In a message dated 2/21/2008 12:27:37 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, tstowell@chattanooga.net writes: In the History of Brookfield - seems the Buttons and Browns were neighbors - "It was on Mill Creek in 1792 that Brown built the first sawmill. Another early settler, John Button, built the first gristmill a short distance away near a 70-foot waterfall on the creek which was thereafter known as Button's Falls. " Dear Tim: I did not have information from that source about the the BUTTONs. I have the same information from History of Madison County by Mrs. Luna Hammond, but in different words and each version gives a little information that the other doesn't. I looked at _http://tinyurl.com/26tmxw_ (http://tinyurl.com/26tmxw) and see that it is the book about Deidamia Button from which a researcher photocopied and sent to me the pages about Deidamia's BUTTON parents and grandparents and her early life. I did not know it is now online so I can print out all of the pages if I wish. Thank you very much for your help. **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Watch video on AOL Living.
