Hi Deanna, Thank you in advance for all the copies. I have heard the movement from Vermont to NY was, at least in part, due to the land squabbles between the two states. When it was finally settled, some people held deeds from NY to land that was now in Vermont and Vermont would not honor their deeds so NY gave these people the option to move to the "wild west" of their day now known as Chenango County, NY. I think land in Chenango County was also made available for the veterans of the day. Preston is where my Randall line merges with my Stafford line! I wonder it I can find where they were buried. I bet it is in Preston. That is the fun of genealogy, you answer one question only to find another! And what kind of name is Keziah? It sounds really exotic. Many thanks, again!
