Hi Deanna, Is there anything in your book about another Brown family: Miner (1782-1855) and Clarisa (? Hayes) Brown (?1785 - ? 1869). They were both born in Connecticut and moved to Otselic or Otselic Center, Chenango County, NY, after the revolutionary war. Miner is buried in Otselic Centre Cemetery. They had a daughter, Calista E. Brown (1830-1901). She married Samuel Weatherly Stone before 1850. I believe they also had other children born while they were in Chenango County. I think possibly a daughter named Harriet born in 1806 and maybe others . Is there anything in the book about the marriage of Samuel & Calista? Or the birth of other children to Miner & Clarisa? I believe Miner also had a brother, Jonathan Brown, who lived in the area.
