There seems to be some confusion on how to subscribe or unsubscribe from this or any other Rootsweb list. At the end of each post there is this blurb: To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NYCHENAN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message If you get each email from the list, one by one - then to unsubscribe do as it says above. To subscribe email goes to the same place but with the word subscribe instead. If you get mail in Digest format - several messages in one email - the address you need to send subscribe or unsubscribe to is - NYCHENAN-D-request@rootsweb.com If you do one of these and it doesn't seem to work, please let me know by sending email to NYCHENAN-admin@rootsweb.com You have to send your email from the address you wish to subscribe or unsubscribe else it'll use the address you do send from.
