He had at least four generations of family there in Brookfield. Let me know if you would like more info. Don Dear Don: I have Brookfield BUTTON family information, but I do not have four generations in Brookfield. My line is John BUTTON born abt. 1756, his son Festus, Festus's daughter Angeline, who was my g grandmother, etc. John is the cousin of John born 1749 who married Anna COON, MACCOONE. Both Johns had a brother named Elias. One Elias went to Brookfield with his brother John while the other Elias went to Pharsalia, Chenango Co. Maybe it would be most efficient if you sent me your BUTTON information, and I could see whether I can find what I am looking for. I would appreciate your sending me the information on the BUTTONs in RI as well as before they moved to NYS. That might help me solve my John BUTTON/John BUTTON problem to which I allude above. Did you get your information from Button Families of America? I did, plus other places. Thanks very much for offering your help. 1. [NYCHENAN] Brookfield Buttons
    2. Teresa Culver
    3. While you Button folk are online, Can any of you identify Amy Button, b. abt Oct 1769 d. Mar 28, 1854 and buried in Brookfield. She married Nathan Wells Brown. Her daughter marries the son of Lawton Palmer Jr. and Nancy Button. Nancy is a daughter of John Button and Anna McCoon. I suspect she is somehow related to these Button's but I have never been able to figure out how. I only have info on John and Anna's line.
