I think it is the Baptismal because the Adella in Gilbertsville, Butternuts Township, Otsego, NY in 1910 her mother is listed as Charmline but also as a possible Bar??Dino at Ancestry.com. The mother on the baptismal is Bernandino Gonzales father Enrique Wheeler. They probably decided to all use the father's surname to avoid confusion and fit in. Now I didn't think of that. That is quite interesting. I did notice on the census the date of emigration to the US as 1904. Does the O at the end of a Mexican name denote female? That might help seal it. An A at the end of a name would indicate a female if you recheck babtismal it is Bernandina I typed it wrong. I wonder where the mother went. I can't seem to find her in 1920.
