Hi Charlie   I am curious about your Root family from MA to Chenango Co. Do you happen to know if any of them married into the Parker family? My ancestor John Parker b abt 1775 in either MA or RI married a woman named Mary (last name unknown) and they first appear in Chenango Co. abt 1799. The reason for the question is the name Edward LaVerne.
