Three of my Ancestresses [sp?] were born in the Coventry and Greene areas of Chenango. They also flittered around the Colesville and Windsor area of Broome. First was Clarissa WILEY c1806 daughter of I don't know which Wiley. 2nd her daughter Clarinda FAIRCHILD bc 1824 Greene, d/o Clarissa WILEY and Stiles FAIRCHILD. 3rd Mary Jane BURDICK b. 29 July 1832, d/o Clark BURDICK and Permelia COON; probably born Afton. She was the w/o John GATES b 29 Oct 1832. Mary Jane died in Stark Co,IL and John was last seen in 1880 Susquehanna County with a new wife. evelyn
