Hello All, Sharon Donahe to speak on the West Bainbridge Cemetery at the Bainbridge Historical Society Meeting, Tuesday, April 13th, at 7:00 PM, Bainbridge Museum. It will be a multi-media presentation as the result of a project undertaken in 2009 to do a full transcription of the cemetery. I do not know if I have relatives in the West Bainbridge Cemetery, but I know I have some in the Pearsall cemetery in Chenango County, near Bainbridge. Rene, Is it possible to get this meeting recorded? I have family in the west Bainbridge Cemetery, but will not be able to attend this meeting as I live in Dunnellon, Florida. Hi Dave, Don't know if it will help but I have a list of West Bainbridge Cemetery burials. I typed it from a listing I found in a library several years ago when looking for my Padgett & Stimpson. I don't know how complete it is...looks like latest burial was 1929. I'd be glad to do a lookup for you. Sandy, This/your list is on the Chenango county site. I told Dave that it was. I don't know what more information that Sharon has dug up, no pun intended. I know that she is writing a book about some of the cemeteries in Bainbridge, but she is also adding to that, stories about the families. I thought some would be interested in the talk, but now they want it recorded/put online, not too sure how she's gonna feel about that. How are you??
