So if death occurred in South New Berlin, that is where I would go, or call. Like I said, though if the same person filled out the death registry information, likely the same information was given for death record. But I would call the clerk for South New Berlin explain what you need and see if they would be willing to do a look up for you either while you are on the phone or you can call back when would be the best time etc. Or what would they prefer you do. That you were given advice to look for a death record instead of death certificate or death registry information. That the obit isn't giving you what you need either.
