Hi, Sorry, I didn't notice that you said Town of Norwich in your reply. I was concentrating more on the original posters information. Have you been in touch with the original poster? Why do they think that the person died in South New Berlin and not Norwich? Did the town clerk also have a death record, they should have. But as I said, if the same informant gave the information on both record/certificate and registry, you probably won't get any more information, than what you already have. If you know the place of birth, then the next thing to do is scour the newspapers and the churches in the area. I would also contact the other people who have trees online and ask them, ask about their sources, it's a lot better to just ask them what source they used and find the information yourself anyway rather than have someone give you the information.
