    3. All of our glass slides are from the areas of Potter Co., PA. I do not know the area of your research. Publishing them on the web would take more space than our servers would allow. We do have some photographs of area people taken by a local photographer but we are now going through them and finding most of them water damaged beyond repair. 3. Hosting of the images is not a problem at all as there are dozens of free hosting sites such as flickr, photobucket, picasa and many more. When images are posted to these sites you have the ability to tag them as Copyrighted or Creative Commons (free use with attribution,) or even public domain. This would totally relive the bandwidth problem on your servers and still make them readilly available for all to see. The images that you restrict with copyright have full protection under federal law. 3. Thanks for your reply, actually, I was just asking about the possibility of publishing a list, not the posting the actual photographs. A simple list of names would not take up much space on a server. Anyway, it was a list that I was asking about, and maybe you already have that compiled. But if the photographs are not identified I can see where that would not be possible.
