Since this is a major change, I'm posting this as my one for or before the road messages. The following information came my way last night. TGN/RW ("RootsWeb") has implemented a policy change in which banners are to be placed on all TGN/RW hosted websites. RootsWeb intends to begin the placement of the banners beginning on or about March 15, 2008. The banners are viewable here: http://www.usgenweb.com/images/rootswebbanner/default1.jpg [default one] http://www.usgenweb.com/images/rootswebbanner/default2.jpg [default two] http://www.usgenweb.com/images/rootswebbanner/default3.jpg [default three] If I so choose something like this can be placed on the sites I maintain, else one of the 3 above will appear or perhaps some other alternative. http://www.usgenweb.com/images/rootswebbanner/custom.jpg [custom to USGenWeb Project] This banner will appear at the top of each and every page on the site(s).
