Hello All! I am searching for information on my great-grandfather, Jesse Crosby, probably born in 1884 in German, Chenango County, NY. He was aparently brought up by John and Helen Green Vosburg. In Helen's will she refers to him as "Jesse crosby, an adopted son or a boy living with me." John Vosburg died in 1892 and Helen died in 1896. They lived in German, Chenango County and are buried in Lower Cincinnatus Cemetery. Jesse had told his children that his father died when he was 8 and his mother died when he was 12 but they did not know that the Vosburg's were not his real parents.
