Holdridge was the father of "Doc" and I believe his real name was Hubert or Hobart. Doc was my great Uncle. Another son of Charles was Perry Alec, who is my Grandfather. I posted a picture of Perry on the Holdridge board recently. I'm formerly from Upstate NY (Rome) but I live in Florida now. I've found quite a few articles about Charles P. on fultonhistory.com and things he did as a Constable. I may try the historical society next. Very neat that your Dad knew Doc.
