The Sannick Family Farm was listed, in April 2007, on the National Register of Historic Places.? There does not seem to be anything online pertaining to the Farm, located in South Oxford, Chenango County, beyond its listing. Please advise where I might find more on this site regarding its history and the genealogy of the family (who seem to first appear in Oxford circa 1860). One listed under the Free Will Baptist Church and the other under the Methodist Episcopal Church. http://www.rootsweb.com/~nychenan/annals-4.htm Tim
Tim Thanks very much for your help.? I had caught one of the Annals entries, but missed the Baptist one, so will go back and find that. John, Thanks for the check that I received via the regular mail. I hope the map is helpful in your research. Let me know if you run across any surnames from the 1902 era, so I can check and see if they are listed. Jack, By the way our ancestors arrived about the same time. I am descended from Jonas EATON who arrived on the New England coast in 1637 from England. Hope this is not a repeat: I was able to find that info and connect my line to him by going to the New England Genealogical and Historical Society (NEHGS) in Boston. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Shape Yahoo! in your own image.
