According to the census information i've come across, he was born Nov. 1831 in Württemberg, Germany. He was married to Lydia, born in NY in 1841 & had 5 children: -Elmira b. 1861 -Mary b. 1864 -Henry b. 1867(i believe this henry is my gg-grandfather) -Temperence b. 1870 -Betty b. 1878 He may have possibly been married to a Mary, before Lydia & possibly married a 3rd time to Lucretia(name appears on 1880 census), but i'm not sure if that was a typo for Lydia, seeing as the name Lydia appears on census info after 1880. I'm looking for a death date for him, along with any information on Lydia & the kids. Also wanted to find out when he came to the US and if he came by himself or with other family members.
