I'm not sure if I have a connection, but I do have some Browns in Chenango County, NY who came from CT. I have a number of other Browns in other Chenango County branches but none with a Sanford or that I have traced to CT. Here is what I have that does have a CT connection. It may be worth you tracking Erasmus Brown to see if there is a connection: First Generation 1. Hattie A. Brown 1 was born2,3 in 1862 in NY. She died4 in 1898. Hattie married Murray B. Boyden 5 son of Bradford A. Boyden and Maryette Bruce about 1879. Murray was born6,7,8,9 on 14 Sep 1853 in Plymouth, NY. He died10,11,12 on 14 Feb 1914 in Smyrna, NY. He was buried13 on 17 Feb 1914 in Sherburne West Hill Cemetery, NY. Second Generation 2. Erasmus D. Brown was born14 in 1824 in NY. He married Lana. 3. Lana ? was born15 in 1831 in NY. Third Generation 4. Brown was born16 in CT. He married ?. 5. ? was born17 in CT. 6. ? was born18 in NY. He married ?. 7. ? was born19 in NY. Appendix A - Sources 1.
