    3. Melissa, I know how you feel. I descend from the Boydens who are buried in this same cemetery. I was planning to get up there this summer and hoped to clean up the cemetery but now it looks like I won't make it unfortunately. Maybe we can contact the local boyscout troop to see if they can help. On a genealogy note, I'd be interested in sharing information with you to see if we have any connections since for generations our families lived next door to one another and were buried in the same place. 1. [NYCHENAN] NEW DATA BASE - RENSSELAER COUNTY MARRIAGE INDEX
    2. Bill & Cathy McGrath
    3. ANNOUNCING NEW DATABASE VOL. III - MARRIAGE INDEX RENSSELAER COUNTY, NEW YORK MAY 1918 - APRIL 1920 A. The largest project the Troy Irish Genealogy Society has undertaken so far is the automation of the Rensselaer County Marriage Index. This 10 Volume Marriage Index of Rensselaer County marriages, from 1908 to 1935, has over 60,000 names. Volume I (January 1908-April 1913) with its 5,000 marriages and 10,000 names, was added to the TIGS website on June 13, 2006. Volume II, (April 1913-May 1918) with another 5,000 marriages and 10,000 names was added to the TIGS website on January 12, 2007. Volume III, (May 1918-April 1920) with another 2,000 marriages and 4,000 names has now been added to the TIGS website. B. You can view these marriage records by going to the Troy Irish Genealogy website at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nytigs/ and click on TIGS PROJECTS. It should be noted that these records, like most of the TIGS data series, cover the general population in the area and are NOT restricted to Irish surnames. C. If you are researching relatives with a RENSSELAER COUNTY, NY area connection, you will be interested in these three on-line, name searchable, records of 24,000 names of local residents who were married in Rensselaer County, New York. If you live in a nearby county or even further away, you might want to check out the data base. Take a look at the data base, you never know what you will find. You may even find an earlier marriage for your relative that you never knew about. Regards, Bill McGrath TIGS Project Coordinator Clifton Park, NY

I can think of two possibilities: 1) Edward and John or John Calvin Wright were related, perhaps brothers. I know little about John other than approximate dates of birth and death and where he lived between 1810-1840. 2) Is it possible that Louisa's parents were not Edward and Sussanah? I assume that the Edward connection came from Louisa's death certificate in 1886? I don't see any commonality in names but then I don't know 4 of the sisters names in my Wright family, either. The one thing that rings a bell is that William Law was a Rev. There are ministers running all over the place in and around my Wright family. Phineas Holcomb was a Baptist minister and the Thurston family that intermarried with my Wright family had multiple ministers. It would not be surprising to think that cousins or sisters of Louisa would have similarly married other ministers. I have a William Law Brown. b. 1817 to a Louisa Wright, I found a record of a Edward Wright and Sussanh Chester so these may be related to yours. Richfield is very close to Herkimer Co and there were a lot of marriages between my Browns to other Families in Herkimer Co. I was wondering if you had a Louisa or her father Edward in your Wright data?It looks like timewise speaking that My Louisa WRIGHT in my Brown data just might fit in your data somewhere.. This is all I have but I will include the other children Of William and Laura (LAW) Brown since sometimes you may recognize other family names. I really do not have anything on William Law who married Louisa only that he apparently died young, and her parents Edward Wright and Sussanah Chester. The LDS has these two married in an Ancestral file so I am not even positive this is correct, but it pretty much fits. It says William was a Rev.
