    3. Jeff-I have some Will abstracts for Oneida Co. There is a Moses Wheeler in Augusta who leave a Will, not dated but Probated Nov. 25, 1833. It names his mother Joanna, wife Lucinda, children John E., Mary Jane, Ludina. Executors: Annad Mumm, Harvey White. Witnesses: Thaddeus Muzzy, Melancton Muzzy. None of the names you give, but Moses is in Augusta when he died. Kinship maybe? 3. Hello Deanna, Is there anything for the marriage of Sylvester Ingraham to Caroline E. Leach about 1835-36, in Oxford, NY? Sylvester was born in 1811; Caroline was born in 1814. I am also seaching for information about Caroline's parents, Alexander (1771-1850 and Susanna (1773-1840) Leach. I don't know Susanna's maiden name, but they both came from Connecticut. 1. [NYCHENAN] To Deanna Smith re: Vermont Lookups
    2. Josh
    3. Deanna, If I'm lucky, you may be able to take a large chink out of my brick wall... I am seeking information about my ggg-grandmother, Hannah Warren. I have very little information about her or her family, but what I have been able to put together: -her date of birth was probably about 1788, calculated from her age at the time of her death, -she was married in 1805, in Pownal, Bennington County, Vermont to Edward Pain (Payne) (any information you might find on him or his family would be spectacular! but I have less hope for that, and know less about his family.) -I believe her father's name was Moses. There was a Moses Warren of relative fame in Bennington, Vermont, at the same time, but I believe the correct family lived in nearby Pownal. A Moses Warrin (yes, spelled with an "i") is found in the 1791 census in Pownal, and later appears spelled Warren in two subsequent censuses before their moving to Otsego County sometime between 1810 and 1820. -I believe Hannah might have had a brother, Uriah, possible date of birth about 1786, and another brother, Jesse, born about 1784, but I can not prove these relationships. Other possible names related are Roby, Jerusha and Renold. Edward Pain (Paine, Payne, Payn) was born about 1785, (but his place of birth was reported in later census records as Connecticut). When he and Hannah married, they both gave their place of residence as Pownal, VT. He was sworn the Oath of Freeman in Pownal in 1806. Possible siblings are Roger and Oliva N. That's absolutely all I know of him or his family prior to his marriage. Any information you might find would be wonderful. Thanks for your most kind offer and efforts. Josh Payne

    1. [NYCHENAN] Elias Button
    2. Teresa Culver
    3. I have an Elias Button (b. 1790 Brookfield, Madison Co.; d. 1850) in my tree. Is this the same Elias Button that you seek? 1. [NYCHENAN] Bowman's
    2. Deanna Smith
    3. The 10,000 Vital Records of Central New York 1813-1850 includes the Chenango Records newspapers that I mentioned earlier but also included newspapers of Baldwinsville, Onondaga Co., Binghamton, Broome Co., Chittenango, Madison Co., Utica, Oneida Co. so the book covers a wide area. I knew Fred Bowman personally and he worked for years doing research for his books. There are other Vital Records from Newspapers that he has done, covering Eastern, Western, and Hudson and Mohawk Valleys. Great sources! Deanna
