C. Kennan One of the Oldest Men In Falconer Passed Away at His Home Sunday Evening. Curtis C. Kennan, one of the oldest men in Falconer, died at his home, West Main Street, Sunday evening at 7 o'clock, aged 89 years and 7 months, death being due simply to old age. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cordelia Ireland Kennan of Falconer, one son, Charles Kennan of Dunkirk; three stepsons, Elroy, Frank and William Ireland of Jamestown; a stepdaughter, Eva L. Wolcott, and two granddaughters, Mrs. J. H. Christian and Mrs. H. W. Throop of Jamestown. Mr. Kennan formerly resided in Jamestown, but moved to Falconer 30 years ago and opened a wagon shop opposite the house in which he died. Although he had been in failing health for a year, as late as a week ago, when a number of friends called, he joined with them in singing hymns. He was unable to recognize his friends however.
