I have the following contact information for the town clerk in Cassadaga: Roxanne Astry, PO Box 286, Cassadaga, New York 14718 Office phone: 595-3007 Home phone: 595-3201 Having some experience with the clerks in these teeny tiny towns in our area, I can tell you that their hours are sporadic, at best. The only time you can ALMOST be assured they are there is when the town court is in session, once a week. Your best bet would be to call the clerk at home. If this doesn't work, let me know as I drive through Cassadaga from time to time and will be in a couple of weeks. There is a town historian, btw. His name is John Sipos. His address is 5 Pennington Rd, PO Box 392, Cassadaga, NY 14718. His telephone number is 595-3379. He might be able to help with your other request. Do you know exactly where the orphanage and school were located? That would help me look for information for you.
