Can I jump in on this (rather old) discussion? My mother's maiden name is Butts, and her family hails from the Chautauqua County, Harmony Township, Ashville area. I'm trying to find the names of my great-grandfather's parents. His name was Glenn F. (Floyd?) Butts, and he married Florence M. Sweet. He was born in 1885 and died in 1975.
