The only information that we have been told, by a source that seems to have some conflicting data,is that Mead went to the war and never returned. We do not know where Marilla and Wellington married. We do not know where Wellington died. Marilla apparently remarried late in life--died in South Dakota, Julia Ann supposedly died in Missouri, but we do not have adequate confirmation to totally believe that. What else do you have regarding Marilla and E. Mead. Marriage license??, census data prior to 1885??, parents name and location re Marilla and Mead--would love to know. I find that there are several Julia Mead names that fairly closely match her probable birth date, but they don't seem to be the correct ones.
