I have been looking for my G Grandmother's obit/death Cert for quite some time. and I recently connected with a (newly found) relative, who said that I may have been looking under the wrong name. So I called Dunkirk's city clerk, and they don't have a cert. for her. and I know I should call pomfret/fredonia/sheridan....but I hope the obit might provide for a better idea of who to call for the death cert. anyway...if someone could look up in the observer books for a death notice of Clara Wilbur died in 1940 in the area. I know she is buried at Forest Hill. of her death info...that is all I have. any help by anyone going to or at the library this week would be greatly appreciated.
