The Daily Times says: [this copy is not complete] The guests were received by Col. and Mrs. J. Addison LAWYER and daughter and Mr. McKINSTRY, and charming informality prevailed until the moment for the ceremony arrived, when the wedding party formed a group, with Rev. S.A. Hayt, D. D. pastor of Stone street Presbyterian church, and Rev. F. P. Winne, assistant minister of Trinity Episcopal church, as the officiating [cut off here] BROCTON LETTER ----- April 29, 1895 - Thomas HEHIF's house took fire in the roof last Saturday [April 27, 1895] afternoon, but the early discovery of the fire saved the building and very little damage was done. Two little fellows, a son of T.C. MOSS and Dr. ROOD, went to the woods last Saturday [April 27, 1895] and dug some roots which they ate quite freely of. Soon after their return home they were taken violently sick but prompt medical aid brought the out of it in a few hours. They had eaten some roots that were very poisonous. The irrepressible G.S. OWEN had no sooner disposed of his clothing store than he had rented another building - the RYCKMAN store - and is opening up a shoe store. James THRONE left for Wisconsin yesterday morning where he will engage in the cutting of grape basket bottoms in a mill belonging to Dr. DICKSON of Westfield. The village loafer is putting in his time these days watching the moving of the old Brocton House and speculating upon whether it will remain intact until the new site alongside of the old hotel barn is reached. Its progress is slow as the building is very heavy. Fredonia parties wanted $200 to move it, but Seth DYE, a veteran at the business, said he would do the work for half that sum. As Mr. DYE has already spent more than a week at the job, it is surmised that he is a trifle sorry that the Fredonia men did not get it. Operations are suspended now owing to the breaking of an axle of one of the trucks and the country is being scoured to find a suitable stick to make a new one. There is a case of measles in town, the first one in many months, the patient being Miss. Ida ISRAELSON who is stopping at the home of W. I. THAYER. She contracted the disease while on a visit to friends in Westfield. She has been very ill. Mr. W. C. RUGG has bought out O. FELT's bakery business and will take possession on Wednesday [May 1, 1895]. Wm. GULICK has rented his father's farm at North Clymer and moves to that place to-day.
