''Ann'' Harkins, 91, of the Tanglewood Manor, W.E., formerly of 124 Aldren Ave., and Falconer, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday (Oct. 24, 2005) in WCA Hospital. She was the widow of Bradley G. Harkins, whom she married Sept 16, 1939, in the Bethel Lutheran Church, and who died July 7, 1994. A lifelong area resident, she was born Jan. 23, 1914, in Jamestown, the daughter of David M. and Hulda Peterson Bjork. She attended Jamestown schools, and was employed by American Mfg. and later by Falconer Central School in the cafeteria for 11 years, retiring in 1977. She was confirmed in First Lutheran Church. She was a longtime member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society, Dorcas Society serving as secretary, and the Bethlehem Fellowship. She was a member of the Falconer Senior Citizens, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Senior Fellowship of First Lutheran Church serving as secretary, and had been a member of the former Falconer Home Bureau and the former Pine Hill Cemetery Society. She had served on the Republican Committee in the town of Ellicott and had been a Brownie and Girl Scout leader in Falconer for many years. ! She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann ''Betty'' Wahlstrom of Annapolis, Md.; two grandsons: David Tad Wahlstrom of Wake Forest, N.C. and Kurt Timothy Wahlstrom of Raleigh, N.C.; and a brother, Richard Bjork of Lakewood. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Carlson; and a brother, Carl Robert Bjork. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Jamestown, NY.
