Author: DeeDavidson97 Surnames: VanDewark, VENTO, DUNNET Classification: obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.chautauqua/21169/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Dorothy Elizabeth Vento, age 96, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk She was born May 18, 1911 in Centralia, NY, the daughter of the late Floyd and Clara (Dunnet) Van Dewark.Surviving are three daughters, June Rose Forestville, NY, Jacqueline Frame of Sherrard, IL, Gloria Vento of Fredonia, NY; two sons, Frederick Rose of Omaha, NE, and George Vento of Loundesville, SC; 18 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild; and a sister, Madeline Morawski of St. Petersburg, FL. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Vento Sr. in 1979; two sons, Lawrence Vento Jr. and Earl Rose; her stepdaughter, Nancy Glanowski; her granddaughter, Sharlene Drewniak; her stepgrandson, Walter Glanowski; her two brothers, Warren Dewark and Norman Van Dewark; and her sister, Clara Kimbrough.
