She was born in Punxsutawney, Pa., on Nov. 14, 1913, the daughter of Michael and Rosalia Lombardo Frushone, and was employed in the advertising department of The Post Journal for 15 years, retiring in 1978. She was previously employed at Jamestown Veneer and Plywood and Crescent Tool, and was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors include seven nephews: Michael Frushone, Kenmore, N.Y.; Ronald and David Frushone, both of Jamestown; Dennis Frushone, Orange Park, Fla.; Sal Dicembre, Collins, N.Y.; Jim Tumminia, Jamestown; and Jerry Gaeta, DuBois, Pa.; nine nieces: Francella Muzzullo and Geraldine Jack, both of Long Island; Angela Bowkar, Simi Valleay, Calif.; Rose Marie Stobel, Kenmore, N.Y.; Lorraine Zanghi, Jamestown; Ann Galbato, West Ellicott; Linda Miller, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Cindy Albatrosov, Hawaii; and Florence Bataglia, Rochester, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dicembre, whom she marrie! d on Nov. 28, 1953, in St. James Catholic Church, and who died Sept. 18, 1999; by five brothers: Samuel, Joseph, Carl, Charles and James Frushone; and by four sisters: Mary Varco, Grace Zanghi, Margaret Oliver and Lucy Randazzo.
