Long, 80, of 4 Washington St., died at 7:40 a.m. Saturday (May 21, 2005) in her home. She was born June 21, 1924, in Frewsburg, the daughter of Donald and Martha Robbins Turney. Before retiring, she had been employed by Simpson's Grill in the Chautauqua Mall. Prior to that, she worked at the Main Street Movie Place, Frewsburg, and the former Kyle and Little Newsroom in Frewsburg. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren as well as gardening. She was especially thankful for the care given to her by her granddaughter, Martha. She is survived by a son, Ralph Long Jr. of Syracuse; a daughter, Heather ''Tess'' Constable of Frewsburg; seven grandchildren: and 10 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in detah by her husband, Ralph Long in 1985, and a brother, Dan Turney in 1953. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg, NY. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
