Schreck, 77, of 214 Locust St., Lakewood, died at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday(Feb 28, 1995) in Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born Sept. 11, 1917, in Jamestown, the son of Gustave and Alice Terry Schreck. He was a 1936 graduate of Jamestown High School, attended the University of Buffalo and was veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He also served in Surface Division 3-68 US Naval Reserves, for many years. Surviving are his wife, the former Betty J. Gregory whom he married June 10, 1950 in Jamestown, three daughters, Priscilla J. Crisler, Sante, California, Paula J. Butts, The Woodlands, Texas, Anne M. Braun of Jamestown; a son, Terry G. Schreck, Lakewood, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Schreck who died in 1915, Harold Schreck who died in 1983 and a sister, Edith Nocero who died in 1984.
