Ross, 79, of 132 Lakecrest Ave., Lakewood, NY, died at 1:25 p.m. Saturday(October 10, 1992) in WCA Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1913, in Westover, Pa., a son of Thomas B. and Lilly Mae Hockenberry Ross. An area resident since 1953, he moved here from Blandburg, Pa. Ross was employed by TRW, Inc., retiring in 1975, and was a member of Zion Covenant Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred Mostyn, with whom he celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary, April 8, 1992; a son, Paul R. Ross of West Ellicott; four grandchildren, Randall Ross of Celeron, Kevin Ross of Jamestown, Cary Ross of West Ellicott, and Tanya Ross of Fredonia State College; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Cloey Hollen of Fallen Timber, Pa., and Helen Kostyack of Sharon, Pa. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Charles Ross. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Jamestown, NY.
