I find that on the 1868 map, Moses lived in section 54 of Poland township. Would the Levant cemetery be of nearer proximity to this location than would the Allen cemetery? I can probably assume that with Michael Baugher being the first person buried in the Allen cemetery, that he may be one of the first settlers of that area?? I think, though, not sure, that the area was called Chautauqua, Niagara county, NY on the 1810 census, and am not sure what it would have been called on the 1800 census. Trying to locate the Michael Baugher who died in 1815 on the 1810 census. The surname is German and was possibly a variant of Bager. My father, who's grandmother was a Baugher, pronounces the name, "Baa-her". Would love to come wander around that cemetery, but not very likely I will get away. Thank you again for your great help.
