An area resident since 1927, she was born May 14, 1909, in Batavia, the daughter of John and Esther Frances Lambert Arnold. She had been employed as school secretary by S.G. Love Elementary, R.R. Rogers Elementary and Lincoln Junior High for 20 years, retiring from the Board of Education in 1971. She was a member of West Congregation Jehovah's Witness. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walfrid H.E. Lindstrom, whom she married Dec. 24, 1927, in Batavia, and who died July 16, 1986; a sister, Elizabeth M. Arnold Lund; and four brothers: John T., William G., Robert H. and Edward F. Arnold.
