Servoss, 92, passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2007 in her home. A Jamestown resident since 1940, she was born November 18, 1914 in Pittsfield, Pa., the daughter of Charles R. and Medora MacManus Moore.Mrs. Servoss was the widow of Dr. Homer M. Servoss, whom she married September 16, 1940, and who passed away July 10, 1998.Surviving are six daughters: Mary Wheelock of West Burrough, Mass., Dr. Ann Servoss of Jamestown, Catherine Slattery of Houston, Texas, Patricia Hutchinson of Lakewood, Margaret Servoss of Jamestown and Shelly Dynys of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three sons: Dr. Joel Servoss of Hopatcong, N.J., Mark Servoss of Amherst, N.Y. and Dr. Michael Servoss of Perrysburg, Ohio; 23 grandchildren:and 15 great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by two sisters: Marion Peterson and Jessie Harris; and two brothers, Robert and Charles Moore.Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
