Abell, 86, of Dale Drive, died Wednesday(April 12, 2000) in Brooks Memorial Hospital. She was born Nov. 30,1913 in Atkinson, IN, the daughter of Johan and Nettie Hubbard Perkins. A Cassadaga resident since 1946, she was employed at the Hilton in Chicago and also worked for United Radio in Chicago during World War II. She operated a vegetable stand outside her home in Cassadaga. Surviving are a son, Robert Abell of Cassadaga; two daughters, Marlene Nichols of Sarasota, FL, and Julia Abell of Cassadaga; 11 grandchildren, numerous grandchildren and a brother, Glenn Perkins of Paradise, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, William Abell whom she married Oct. 13, 1943, and who died April 26, 1971; a daughter, Juanita Miller, an infant son, two brothers, Everett and Cecil Perkins and a sister Viola Shelton.
