He was 75 yrs of age and being naturally very active, did considerable work daily on his little farm. Friday some cattle broke into his magnificent field of winter wheat, and he over heated himself getting them out. He complained somewhat toward evening but was seen as late as 6 PM working in his yard. He was suddenly taken ill with apoplectic symptoms and died at 9 PM He owned the old ??den Farnsworth farm having come in possession of it 34-35 yrs ago, shortly after his marriage to Miss LUCY FARNSWORTH, who survives him along with 3 daughters and a son all children of his first wife.
