Mr Cassety came to this place in an early day from Oriskany Oneida CO NY, and settled on a farm on the Lake Road. Of his descendants, only 2 remain, James who was educated at Harvard and is now a professor at Albany and Thomas who remains at the old home caring for the aged mother and keeping the property which the father had acquired.
