Do you know when Herbert Emmott died? In the 1900 New Jersey census there is an Ellen Emmott, a widow, b. in England, b. 1863 - also, a son named Herbert. Sounds like it could be the Ellen you're looking for. According to the 1900 census, Ellen immigrated in 1879 but I can't find the parents listed on the 1880 census to see if that coincided with their immigration date. Sam Robertshaw was b, abt. 1841 as was his wife Mary. There were two children in the house Lizzy Robertshaw b. abt. 1859 and Ellen Robertshaw b. abt. 1863. I have reason to believe that later Ellen married Herbert Emmott. I would like to confirm this. There was also a sister-in-law in the house Fannie Briggs. Any information would be greatly appreciated. > >Important Note: >The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
