Proudman, died at her home at Levant Thursday(April 9, 1942)at 12:30 p.m. She leaves three sons, Reginald Proudman of Mardy, Wales, Howard Proudman of Falconer and Joseph Proudman of Jamestown; six daughters, Mrs. Flora Stimson and Mrs. Doris Barnes of Levant, Mrs. Evelyn Storms of Kennedy, Mrs. Maggie Ambridge of Measham, England, Mrs. Isabelle Lindquist of Hartfield and Mrs. Mary Adams of Boulder Dam, Nevada; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Price of Ravenstone, England, Mrs. Harry Pocock of Levant and Mrs. Maggie Colver of Leicester, England; three brothers, Sol, Charles and Walter Willett all of Levant; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Daisy Proudman of Falconer, 24 grandchildren and 5 greatgranchildren. Her husband died in 1914, a brother, Rev. John Willett in 1935 and a son, Charles Proudman in 1936. Born in Leicestershire, England, she came to this country on Oct. 13, 1925, proceeding direct to Levant and making her home there ever since. She had been active in sewing and knitting work for the Red Cross. The remains are at the home and funeral services will be held at the Levant Wesleyan Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m., the remains lying in state there from 1:30.
