Jacobson, 72, of 61 Stewart Ave., died at 5:39 a.m. Monday (May 20, 2002) in WCA Hospital. A lifelong area resident, she was born Sept. 4, 1929, in Jamestown, the daughter of Henning P. and Imogene Washburn Pearson. She was a 1947 graduate of Jamestown High School, and from 1967 to 1994, along with her husband, owned and operated the former Jacobson Brothers Locksmiths. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, a 50- year member of the Ingjald Lodge 65 Independent Order of the Vikings, the ladies auxiliary of the Viking Male Chorus and the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club. She is survived by her husband, Dorrell S. ‘‘Jake’’ Jacobson, whom she married Nov. 11, 1950; a son, Dr. Todd A. Jacobson; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Craig Jacobson; a daughter, Beth S. Jacobson Johnson, who died Jan. 29, 1998; and a brother, Roderick W. Pearson, who died Nov. 4, 1991. The funeral service w! ill be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard T. Schaffer, pastor of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
