Rishell, 80, of 25 Cherry St., formerly of 1265 Newland Ave., died at 2:02 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 28, 2005) in her home. She was born July 18, 1925, in the town of Poland, the daughter of Charles and Henrietta Smith Jackson. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a bookkeeper by the Ames Department stores in Mayville and Jamestown. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Frewsburg, where she was currently serving as church treasurer, the Carroll Historical Society where she served as past treasurer and the Frewsburg Community Pride Group and the Carroll Senior Citizens. She is survived by four daughters: Valerie Welling of Holland, Mich., Cynthia Reeves of Gerry, Nancy Parson of Warren, Ohio, and Lisa Pelletier of Fairport, N.Y.; nine grandchildren: and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn J. Rishell who died Dec. 27, 1974; two brothers: Harry Spencer and Richard Jackson; and two sisters: Hazel Wi! lliams and an infant sister, Sarah Jackson. Burial will be in Panama Greenwood Cemetery.
